NOVAModeler Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Does anyone know of a current source for the Rolls Royce name plates for the Tamiya Spitfire IX? I didn't use the Barracuda parts.
rkranias Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Me thinks Barracuda is the only game in town for the RR plates.
Dave J Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 There is another place.. but I can not think the name of them!
Dave J Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Here you go! http://www.iconicair.com/rollsroyce/ 1
repeater Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Or the Eduard exterior PE set Eduard 32249 Spitfire Mk.IX exterior TAMIYA Cheers.
NOVAModeler Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 Thanks Dave! Do you know that they (iconicair) are still in business? I emailed them but got a "Error 404" after hitting submit. I don't want to part with $10 and never receive the parts. (It's too late for the Barracuda option since the engine is done).
Wingco57 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 We just reviewed their new Spiteful kit. They are definately still in business. Packard built Merlins didn't have the RR-logo ( obviously), so if you are building A Mk XVI.... Cees
