do335b6 Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Since the Japanese eagerly sought licence rights to the Pfiel and got many of the plans and parts I decided to build the what if had the war gone on longer. Base kit is the HK 335 with Eduard PE. 2
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted May 6, 2015 Administrators Posted May 6, 2015 A japanese Do! Very unique! Will follow this for sure...
benjaminsummerfield Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Great to see some what if schemes seeing as the actual ones are rather dull and limited. I'll keep an eye on this build.
do335b6 Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 I thought about that but since I had the PE I didn't want to paint the whole cockpit a different color. Also supposedly many components such as the cockpit at least for the original were sent from Germany. The Sub they were on never made it but one can assume that they would have left the Grey. Anyway its a what if. 4
Administrators James H Posted May 6, 2015 Administrators Posted May 6, 2015 Now this one is very interesting. Such a great kit, and I can't wait to see how this turns out in Nippon colours.
IainMackayDall Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Maybe some one should build the "what if" u-boat that would have provided the export line between the Axis. Plus, being the "what if" that German industry at the time would want to send parts or even part built sections of the craft. All though, depending on whose economy was still surviving. maybe LSM should start a "What if" forum section? My regards again, to all you famous modellers.
