Mauricio_1971
This one was completed back in 2014. Eagle Cals George Preddy's markings depicted as 14th of June 1944. This is the famous mount becoming an Ace in a single mission shooting down 5 enemy aircraft. Metallic finish using Tamiya AS-12 straight from the can on the wings, as per manufacturing specs wings were puttied, primed and painted due to aerodynamics constraints. Flaps, fuselage, HStab painted with Alclad II. Hexagonal thread tires from Barracuda. Propeller blades, over sprayed with Bodney Blue Nose paint as shown in actual pictures of the real aircraft. Enjoyable kit, superb quality.
Wingco57
Wow, very nice build. I love the way the invasion stripes are "broken" by the flaps. Cees

Dennis.E
Obviously the ground crew have strayed the markings without covering up the propeller blades, which would happen in the field - excellent observation, and it shows in your work Sir!
