k5ikl
Finished this Hasegawa 1/32 F-104S of 23 Gruppo, 5 Stormo Italian AF a few days after I finished the P-39D. Replaced the seat with a resin seat from CMK and decals are from Zotz which did not perform well. First decal off the sheet started breaking apart while moving it into position. Had to end up using MicroFilm for all the rest of them and even then a few still broke apart under the film. Cheers, Jerry

k5ikl
Nice! Question: what is micro film? Micro Superfilm is one of the products made by MicroScale along with their decal solvent and set. The super film is clear and is used to help save old decals or in my case ones that were cracking when coming off the sheet. Brushing the film over the decal in effect puts a new clear film over the decal. Dries in minutes. Once dry, cut the decal very close to its original clear film and apply as usual. This stuff has saved many a decal for me. I swear by it. Cheers, Jerry
