  1. Recently finished is the Hasegawa 1/48 F-15C of the 194th FS, 144th Fighter Wing of the Calif. ANG. Used a True Details resin seat, Aries exhaust nozzles and Speed Hunter Graphics Heritage Eagle decals. Otherwise OOB During the summer of 2018, the 144th FW contracted to design a new paint scheme for an Eagle to celebrate the units 75th Anniversary. As of Feb. 2022 the jet remains in this striking scheme and has flown daily training missions from Fresno alongside its standard squadron mates. It has even been photographed while on alert duty armed with live missiles. Last picture is of the actual aircraft being refueled on its way for a flyover at the 2022 Super Bowl back in Feb. Cheers, Jerry
  2. Thanks Bomber. Sorry, I don't do WIP's.
  3. Since I am doing A-10's, here is the Revell 1/48 A-10 I did many years ago. Totally OOB.
  4. Just finished the Tamiya 1/48 A-10 Thunderbolt II. Used a True Details resin seat, Two Bobs decals and a Master Model gun barrel and pitot tube, otherwise OOB. I do believe that in the time it took me to do this build John B finish about 6 or more builds. Cheers, Jerry
  5. WOW!! Another outstanding speedy build John. Love it. Cheers, Jerry
  6. Looks great John. You cussed it right into a nice looking F-80C. Cheers, Jerry
  7. Very well done Thomas. Awesome build. Cheers, Jerry
  8. Thanks. Went to Scalemates but missed seeing the pdf download.
  9. Where can I download it from??? Also where can I find some 1/32 A6M5c Zero decals?? Cheers, Jerry
  10. Looks great Kevin. Jerry
  11. You got that right John. Mine ended up in the dumpster. Jerry
  12. Very nice build John. Outstanding (as usual for you, LOL). And the John B building machine rolls on. Jerry
  13. Looking for the Hasegawa 1/48 F-15C. Either kit #PT-49 07249 or P-10 07010. I have this posted in the sell/buy section and no one has made me delete it yet.. Do you by chance have one in what you are going liquidate? Cheers, Jerry
  14. Looking for the Hasegawa 1/48 F-15C. Either kit #PT-49 07249 or PT-10 07010 If anyone, in US, has one in the stash they would like to part with at a reasonable price (not eBay prices) I would be very interested in taking it off your hands. Thanks and Cheers, Jerry
  15. Right in there with you John. Been single the last 32 years.
  16. Exactly why I don't I don't use the paint cup.
  17. Thanks Mike. I think it is one of Trumpeter's better kits. Went together very well with very little putty used. Only placed I had to use a lot of putty was underneath where the front of the wing meets the fuselage. Had a pretty good step there. Also had a bit of a problem getting the front windscreen to fit properly. I closed up the gun bays as that is where I had to put about 50 grams of weight to keep it from being a tail sitter. I enjoyed the build on this one. Cheers, Jerry
  18. Another one done. Trumpeter 1/32 ME-262A-2a. Used Eduard PE seatbelts, Barracuda resin wheels and Eagle Strike decals. Cheers, Jerry
  19. Just completed is the Revell 1/32 F-14A Tomcat of VF-111. Used Quickboost resin seats and Master Model AOA & Alpha probes, otherwise OOB. Actually started this one back at the first of last year. Got disgruntled with it so threw it up on the SOD. Got it out last week to see if I could get it finished. It was suppose to be done as VF-111 "Miss Molly" using Zotz Decals but they performed horribly. So did a repaint and used the kit decals which worked okay but had trouble with some silvering that I couldn't get cleared up. Que cera cera. It is what it is. Think I'll try to tackle the Tamiya A6M2b Zero next. Cheers, Jerry
  20. Moving along there nicely Kevin. I would have left the speed brake doors open like I did on the Hasegawa kit, but the way Kinetic molded the door glue slots it made the doors stick straight out instead of angling slightly downward like they are suppose to be so I closed them. Gives it a more sleek look. Hasegawa kit below. Hope the wife is doing okay after her knee surgery. Cheers, Jerry
  21. Nice start Kevin. Good luck. My Kinetic F-86. Cheers, Jerry
  22. Fresh off the modeling bench is the Revell 1/32 F-4G "Wild Weasel". Used Quickboost resin seats, Speed Hunter Graphics decals and Master Model pitot tube, otherwise OOB. This one was my 22nd Phantom. Cheers, Jerry
  23. Thanks Ron. I can't seem to get the Vallejo metals to cover well (brushed) on small items rather it be on bare plastic or with a primer. Air brushed they work fine on larger surfaces. The now, long gone, Model Master Metalizer's were great for brush painting of small items. Jerry
  24. I have this Vallejo Aluminum. It is for air bushing but to thin for brushing. Do they have another line of metal colors that are thicker? Can't seem to find it if they do.
