Been planning this one out for over a year and holding off starting any new models until I could eat it wrapped up.  Finally happened today.  I was part of the class action lawsuit against Harbor Freight tools and received just over $500 in store credit.  I used it to buy this box and attached side cabinet.  Still had to fork over $175 To get out of the store with it all.

Local metal supermarkets provided all the steel (to the tune of almost $300) and the top came from Global Supply and added wood edging from Lowes I had to cut and fit.  Another $325 gone....  Add paint, hardware, casters, etc....

All in all,  about $900 invested after the “almost free” box.  So I finally have more storage for all the odds and ends ans accessories laying around the garage.

That looks awesome. Colour me jealous. My wife decried that the garage is for only cars and bikes, and not to used as a workshop. She's concerned I'll turn it into one and we'll never get the cars back into it.

That's funny how it works Carl, because in our case it is me who is insisting of utilizing the garage space solely for the cars :), need an acreage

I found a listing for a house with a 6,000 sq ft garage. The bonus was the 4,000 sq ft workshop.  My wife vetoed it as it was in North Carolina but was only about 20%  more than our 1,200 sq ft house here in Toronto is worth.
