Decaling completed. Now for a overspray with clear flat then on to some weathering.

 

The more I look at the model the more the decals for the national insignias don't look "right". I hate to do it but I'm going to take 'em off and replace them with some that, in my opinion, are better. Fingers crossed.

The light blue surround on the insignia does look odd. I presume that was specific to the plane you're modelling?

I thought so too but the more I looked at the photos of the real a/c the more I decided the light blue was just wrong. I removed the national insignia from the upper wing and the fuselage and replaced them with some from the kit. MUCH more accurate than the goofy Fundecals I had used. I still need to overspray them with some clear flat but you can get the idea, etc.
