Martinnfb
Revell in my opinion. Smart engineering, no rivets, exquisite detail.
BlrwestSiR
The one thing I really don't like about the Trumpeter kit is the way the cockpit is installed. They use huge tabs on either side that plug into the fuselage. The plugs are very noticeable in the MLG bays. Another point of contention is the gun bay doors are designed to be mounted in the open position. Closing them up means a bit of shimming is needed. You probably won't like the price even if it's in Loonies: https://www.greathobbies.com/productinfo/?prod_id=RVG3875 As for the P-51B, the Trumpeter kit has a lot of shape issues, mostly around the nose and canopy. Jerry Rutman did some correction sets for it but they're OOP. None fixed the canopy though. I've seen some folks graft the Hasegawa nose onto the Revell kit. Martin on here did that but I don't know if her ever finished. Carl
