I totally agree Dave. However, I'm glad that Tamiya released the F4U Birdcage first as that is my favorite model of F4U. It saw quite a bit of action in the Solomons. I may be in the minority here about the F4U-1 Birdcage Corsair.

I totally agree. Had they done an F model first, they may have sold a lot more. Just my opinion. Heck, an E model would have been awesome if that was released first as well. If I'm not mistaken, when they do release the F model, you can also make an E model as well as they are supposed to have parts for both.

If it had been an early G model, I might have gotten it. But I really like the F model so that is the one I'm waiting for. If their F model can also be made into an E model, I might have to get two.
