    Cut off the turret hatchesfitted the commanders hatch together unfortunately I couldn't get it to be free to open and close so I just glued it into place. fitted the hatches to the turretand started adding all the little bits. Including matching gun mount and rest, lifting rings and other thingsoh also stuck the bottom half to the top half

    Finished of the hull by adding the head lightsThen I painted then I removed the anti paint covering stuff to show the clear plastic on the lights I added the other side partthen I finally started on the turretthats all from yesterday. Daniel

    This is all absolutely stunning. The detailing on the engines is amazing. Can't wait to see more

    Guns travel restraint moves fairly freeley. And everything is done at the back. Glued the fuel tank caps on and what I believe is a breather pipe to stop a vacuum being created inside the fuel tanks. Also putting the head lights together

    I did fit the exhausts and put some weathering on them. But didn't take photos I'll get some of it done in afew minutes. Yesterday I put the towing cables on and glued the little holders for them down. Also took a look at the travel rest for the gun

    I did like the look of that aircraft. Should be interesting to do.

    Just tried fitting the exhaust parts to the tank. The long cover but at the back didn't fit so I had to file it down abit. Now to spray an edit it properly

    Touched up the paint again. And glued the Track guards to the tank along with the storage boxes. Then fitted all the tools. They look good. Took some time painting them all nice. Not quite the right colours on a couple but you wouldn't know unless you were a tank nutcant say how happy I am with that spade. Took alot of patience to get that paint perfect and I don't think I could have done it like that last year

    Painted the wood on the tools. happy with the spadea little hard to see the handle and shaft are wood and the spade head and rest of the handle are aluminum with a green mounting bracket over the spade head

    I did some more work on the track guards. Cleaning them up attaching the speaker and cover and glueing the handles to the storage boxs and the boxes to the guardsspeaker shot of the back with the break lights attached was tricky painting them green with the red. gluing handles to storage boxes also removed some detail from the alternative tank

    Drilled the holes in the track guard and dry fitted it to the tank along with a couple other pices now to glue all the handles on

    Glued the last of the little bits on. And glued the top to the bottom and added the back pannel

    Painted a couple bits and has a play around with the gun. The mantlet is blue tacked together and to the tank

    Well things just went wrong. Was painting the two track sections for the front of the tank and I have a lamp with a magnefying glass and it gets hot. I went to get a drink and it moved and the heat melted the parts. Going to try and get some replacement parts from TAKOM.

    Just finished 3 or so hours. Just touching up scratched paint and installing the bow gun Front Before: Front After: Rear before: Rear After: I will add some more weathering after or close to when the tank is done

    done the back access hatches tow mount it something and towing eye. As well as a small cover thing. There should be a tiny little round thing but I can't find it.

    right i am back almost a year since i touched this wow. doing the periscopes and front hatches driver and bow gunner i belive I believe the instructions intend for the hatches to be glues down but I have left them free. The pices are too small for me to make a hinge so I'll just leave them loos for now. I propped them open with some tooth picks I'll add pictures soon

    So just put together a gun and mantlet that I don't intend to use. And fitted it to the turret with some blue tack to see what it looks like. There should be a muzzle brake on the barrel but there is only one in the set and I intend to use it on the gun I actually want to fit to the tank.

    So been painting and gluing some of the ideler wheels together. My mum has been helping. And we have started to get the tracks and everything together
