I am not an expert , but wasn't something like, Yeah Cheps we want Stuka, and then no we don't need stucka, let us focus on target tugs, what underpowered and slow, what about basic training, dangerously outdated ..... and so it goes -

Henley? Hmmm, that is such a strange choice . -
I bumped into this aeroplane by accident yesterday. Got lost and all of sudden there was randomly misplaced Lanc. because of the presence of my dog I couldn’t stop. They had it out-on the sun . The picture above was taken in the nose section of a different aeroplane that is a part of the Nanton's exposition. It was altered for display purposes.

FIGHTERS ,1983 documentary / Czechoslovak Air Force
Martinnfb replied to Martinnfb's topic in General Discussion
Interesting is also a fact that pilots swear on qualities of Mig-15 to 21. Describing them as a pilot's planes, fast with a sufficient level of enjoyable freedom of flight. Another one: Czechoslovakian pilots didn't received two-seater Mig-19. So they were schooled like a boss. Strap and go -
Old propaganda movie, full of nice shots of S-199, Si-204, Il-2, Mig-15,19,21,23. 1983 was also the year when Mig-15 flew last time within CS Air Farce.
