  1. Totally agree with Peter, this is going to be a unique marvel in your collection Scott. keep on trucking , it looks like nothing out there already. Everyone collects them, but none builds them.
  2. So refreshing to see the anime movie armour collection. Welcome to the forum. Cheers Martin
  3. This is taking some gnarly shapes Carl. 👍
  4. flat learning curve 😇
  5. Eduard was rendered obsolete by arrival of the Hasegawa kit. This looks very promising. I Like the wing profile and the fuselage proportions.
  6. Nose gear is the problem, I broke it twice and now it's just sitting aside , waiting for the model to be finished.
  7. Looks amazing , very realistic finish. The extra detailing paired off, Bravo! I just noticed one small thing, the gunner's hatch should not be welded. Other than that exquisite work. Cheers Martin
  8. Gavia indeed, Nicely built post war Lavochkin, although careful when you positioning the Czechoslovak national insignia, red on the bottom, blue to the front. Cheers Martin
  9. I need some help here guys. Anybody has the knowledge or experience to advise me on the use of Mercon LV as a power steering fluid instead of Mercon V? I am getting conflicting messages from Motorcraft (no) and Ford (yes). Need to know if I can replace V with LV. How would low viscosity affect the steering system? Maybe someone dealt with it before.
  10. Iain was working on some corrections over on LSP. https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/78152-hobbyboss-132-liberator-gr-mkvi-raf-coastal-command/page/6/
  11. Very reasonable and reliable . Have been buying from the for a decade.
  12. Every single one is radiating a real life atmosphere, impressive.
  13. Smooth work Chris, I like how involved is your research. Every detail is accounted for. Cheers Martin
  14. At times, it looks as if it was the real deal. Very impressive.
  15. Thank you for the kind words and the feedback guys. Yes, the right barrel is off. I knocked it out of position as I was playing around with the windows. Not a biggie , the turret itself is not glued in place , just sits there loose. I still have to tackle the additional painting and detailing. Not much, but it’s getting tricky not to break things as I go.
  16. So I took the turd on the road and took it to Kaltire for alignment. I did a basic one myself, but wanted to make sure it’s done right. I specifically asked them to Center my rear (life) axle, since I lowered it a bit. I did it myself, but wanted to make sure. Not a biggie, yet dudes were super puzzled and told me that that’s not included in the factory spec sheet and after I drew them a small diagram to explain what I want, they suggested to go to a body shop. …. well my right toe was off. 😂 I would just beat them senseless, mercilessly and then released the dogs to finish the job, whoever survives would be send back to school. I dare to believe that one still needs some kind of education to get this kind of job. ok rant over
  17. Thank you guys. The liquid is the engine oil dislocated by the propeller wash and pressed into the seams of the fuselage, following the air flow. for the bag I used the foil that seals the cup of Philadelphia cram cheese, cut it into the ‘bag’ pattern shape , painted with Afrika corps yellow and made decals based on the pictures of the real bags. I’ve realized that the end of this build is near so it was time to switch to the chop-chop mode and start slapping thing together. This thug is quite big and difficult to manipulate. I used Master guns,
  18. This is shaping out nicely, can't wait for the next instalment .
