Ah lovely! Good to see this installment.
About the mr surfacer. I would mask the area and apply it with an airbrush in layers.
I can't imagine applying it with brush would give a desired result...

Marvelous Jeroen! I like that very much! Despite work you seem to make good progress. Are you going to weather her a bit more or will she stay like this? That color richness is truly beautiful!
Hi Jeroen, thnx! Replicating your SE5 gunsight noe for the Ninak. She will be heavily weathered. Exhaust and oil stains. Dirt. Scratches. Studying photo's now for the right effect / amount

Hi Guys,
Please forgive me for not posting on a more regular basis lately, but work is annoyingly getting in the way.
However, this weekend I managed to get some bench time in.

Blown away.. Love the instruction booklet. Great review...
First time I'm tempted to sell the Revell He219 and go for this...

I'd opt for one of these in 1:32 or 1:24............seriously!
Pou du Ciel
hi james, it has your name written all over it.... well.. all over the nose.

I like it a lot but will never admit to it.
Cheers!

You like my rack?!
I agree only the Brits could have designed this plane. Too bad you're not a brit!

Thnx! More progress.
The central bomb rack is on. Gloss coat applied to forward section. And... first rigging between the gear.

Hi Sean,
Welcome to LSM!
I love the weathering you've achieved.
Since a Snipe is landing on my desk in the near future I will use your nice build as part of my reference!
I love this photo:

Looking Great Jeroen! I wonder what you are planning for the next build
Hi Dave, Today I got some books and stuff for both the Snipe as the Rumpler.
James would interpret that as me swinging both ways, but the truth is I haven't decided yet

Thnx guys!
Like incorporates a beer can in his builds to show the sheer size...
I like to show off my soft skin. Here's the second most tedious part of this build.
The bomb racks! Done! Time for paint.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Hi Paul,
Harvey had the same problem. I advised him to clear his collected cookies from his browser. You don't have to clear them all. Just the one's from LSM.
Restart browser. Should be fine!
Cheers,

Great review Nick.
There are some typical Revell mishaps in there. Most of them easy fixes or in need of replacements.
The nose cupola will be a difficult fix though. If that's what you feel is needed.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Fantastic! Great build.
One small detail: the pitot tube needs viagra.
Cheers!

Hi Cees,
Great to finally see some color on this kit!
Did the observer / gunner seat have seatbelts?
-
Great update Jeroen - I like the idea of leaving a space, most would fill it up completely. Good call.
Careful though, Jim obviously likes a bit of soft skin!
Thnx Grant!
I tried everything. Even covered my hands in super glue to make them less appealing to james...
Without succes..

Wings are ready for weathering. Right now working on the HGW enhancements for the bomb-racks. Nice stuff.
It really adds a lot of detail which I think it can use. Especially if you don't attach all the bombs and leave some spaces open, like I will.

Welcome to LSM! These books sure are a great addition to anyone who want to seriuosly go to town on a Panzer.
It's been a while since I tried my hands on one... Maybe too long when I look at those photo's.
Cheers!
