Cavia? How do you liquefy such an endearing rodent?

All silliness aside (yes, I know the drink misses the i...), Jeroen, I really like your model. The weathering and most of all the aluminium "cringles"!
And I won't say anything about the size of the base.....
Dammit! I knew you had to mention the base! I just didn't see it first time reading your post!
This ones' for you. Watch the whole freakin thing!

Aaaahhh!!!! My eyes!! all these letters...
Cool subject. And i know it's a cool kit too.
Godspeed!

Jeroen, did I ever tell you that I hate you.
Your talent hacks me off. Your posts fill me with envy and I throw my own projects against the wall immediately afterwards!
Seriously, this is bloody superb. I really am very envious of this. It's without a doubt the best Eindecker I've seen to date. You must be real proud of that one.
Hate U2! But only because you drink Cava.
Cheers buddy!

James, you watching this? It's the answer to your blue-bird!

Hi all,
finally finished the Fokker E.III in Max Immellmann's 'colors'.
Since he was awarded the Blue Max medal, I placed a replica of the Pour le Merite on the base.
I have added HGW seatbelts. A wooden prop (by Douglas Craner). Bob's Buckles and EZ line.
Now, on with the DH.9a!
Cheers,
Jeroen

Ah, I see you also got the 'verrekte mongol'!

Ehhh..... wow!
I love the wood man! Really nice.
Also love the elastic band on the tail skid you've replicated. Great touch.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Wow!! Only just spotted this build. Really love your paintwork. Especially in the cockpit. Very nice contrast and weathering.

I was just amazed by the well preserved Fug, spitfire engine and mg131 guns.
Had a great day!

Amazing walk around!
Could not ask for more pictures.
Well... maybe for the cockpit...
Thank you very much sir!

Moderator love!
Damn Cees... We look good, don't we?
( i must say we weren't the only sexy specimens in the place. There was also a Brian May look-a-like and i've just spotted a scrumptious example walking in the right background...)

I have to say I thought the spinner was an odd shape too, generally, and especially at the opening. The dimensions seem 'suspect'.
So do your dimensions and shape. But they're still authentic.
-
...then do it
If that's your luck, then I can go with that idea....
Ok.. you convinced me. Send it over!
-
Hi Cees, love it. And like James says: this subject surely won't be covered in 'our' scale any time soon!
-
Nice review James.
I almost bought one not so long ago, but with all the excellent WnW quality out there and more of those than I can build I'm not biting yet.
Besides. With my luck WnW hits us with a surprise Dr1 as soon as I start an Encore kit...

I just love that 'radioactive hazard' sticker sealing the pit.

Wow... this scale really needs your attention to detail. This is going to be a beauty.
Love the work on the ammo boxes.

Hi Jeroen,
Great vignette. My father in law drives a Liberator like this. Great stuff.
The m1 carbine is pretty cool too. I actually have one myself.
Cheers,
Jeroen
