Hi Danny, ah ok.
Here's a site that makes the coolest plates on order:
They're always present at hobby shows.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Wow Jeroen... amazing progress and weathering. Again...
One question: how do you mask the undersides to obtain the green edge along the wing's edges?

Great start Danny!!
Will you be using the HPH resin replacement canopy?
AND I can really recommend the HGW seatbelts. They come with resin seats too.
Following this one buddy.
Cheers,
Jeroen

Hi Danny,
You know i love your Von Werra build.
The one that got away!
Where did you have that name plate made?

Hi all,
I built this Verlinden full resin kit quite some years ago.
It's the Trophy models series BRDM-1.
The figure is from Alpine miniatures i believe.
If I had to build this kit today, I would use a range of techniques I did not know back then.
But I guess that's part of the hobby.
The base is petrified wood.
Cheers,
Jeroen
This is what you get:
And here's the model:

Thnx guys,
I covered the exhaust stacks with liquid fluid.
The vallejo version is very thin. A bit difficult to remove, but perfect for tight spots.

Great work Jamme.
So that figure is white metal?
Really cool display...

Thnx guys,
Today I started paint work on the forward fuselage.
This part was aluminum. I haven't found any pics of heavy chipping or weathering BUT i felt like chipping.
I used AK chipping medium. This works way more delicate than hairspray. First coat: Alclad aluminum. Followed by Micro Gloss coat. Then water thinned AK chipping medium. Then Mr. Hobby Olive.
Cheers!

wow... one of the nicest K's I've ever seen.
Got one in the stash with all the EagleParts and AM it begs for.
Truly amazing finish.
Got any more nice builds we need to know about??

Can't wait to see you tackle this Iain!
I love the british F-4K. Too cool for school

Hi guys!
Not much time at the bench, but this kit is enjoying in so many levels.
The HGW upgrades really set this kit off.
Here's the Lewis gun. Only need to add the buckle on the leather drum strap.
Cheers!

It says coming soon, but that can mean anything.
Curious to hear what stage it's in..

Hi Paul,
That looks mighty fine! Very nice.
May i just make one little suggestion? I would probably one add a small pinwash in the prop bolts as a finishing touch!
Cheers,
Jeroen

Has anyone seen this? A newly tooled 1/32 Ar-234 by Fly Models.
I've only seen their Natter. If that is anything to go by this kit will be expensive.
Still maybe cheaper than the MDC offering and possible easier to build.

Eeeh... wow... that's just stellar. I thought you lost your mojo with this kit.... Amazing...

Haha! When I'm sanding stuff in the living room, she always asks: no dust comes from that does it?
I always say: I'm polishing. When you polish your nails, nothing comes off from that does there?
--- little pause ----
Sanding continues!
Here's some parts I just 'polished'
Yup, after years of evil looks I'm down here in the basement with the Cave Crickets!

Hi Jeroen,
i love the weathered look on these wings! a bit of contrast makes these kits just way more fun to look at.
I like it a lot... Going way slower on my DH9a, but i think I'll give my wings the same treatment.
Rock on!

haha! i do most of my modeling on the living room. Warm and cozy by the fire (and TV).
I get away with a lot, until i start sanding. That's when i get the evil looks...
Here's a pic that doesn;t show a lot of progress, but took quite some time. Getting rid of seams. Hollowing exhausts.

Yup... here we go!
The reason Radu stalled his IAR...

Keen to see this one up close. I'm sure Radu's resin version would have been the bomb...

And a Heiny beer to seal the deal!

I like it! Even without the paint.
It's a shame it's a bit of an 'alien' subject for an airplane and armour forum...

Having finally mustered up the courage, due to some fine wine and a good dinner, I would like to ask for a personal banner as well, Jeroen.
That's all wine by me!
I remebered you asking for a AVG P51?
(it blinks his eye every 5 seconds by the way)

1/32 Snipe, RE.8 and DH.9a Belts for the Wingnut Wings kits
in Aircraft Reviews

Hi James,
Great review and pics.
I have the older version of the Ninak seatbelts and had to cut them out myself. Also these feature holes instead of black dots. Looks like a great product.
Cheers!
