I have been chomping at the bit to get started on this one.The engine was my starting area for reason of personal taste like get my problem area out of the way and operational. The plane will be displayed in-flight as it stands at the moment subject to change.I will be adding Quintas to the office to spruce things up a bit and I am leaning towards the boxart but some mask for the main insignia.;)

Works like a charm. :thumbsup2:

So it just opens without a download? If so that works I guess I just did not want people to be scared of the download which I can understand.;)

nstalled a micro motor in the gear reduction case.

Did something like this years ago with an Airfix 1/24 Spitfore for a Glad sandwich bag commercial. No pretty like your's, the Tamiya reduction box took up almost the entire nose of the spit. But it worked nice once it was all set up. And it was a big hit on stage. Everyone wanted to play with the power supply to rev the "engine".

I have that spitfire around here somewhere still.

Cool! The motors are so small like .160"W and .510" L can take power up to 4.7V so in the long run may add one more battery.Yeah I have a box of potentiometers for calibration.;)

Well I have started the painting process on this one.I started with Mr Surfacer 1500 grey,Tamiya Semi Black, silver (chip) and I guess yellow ID bands. The plane looks like it's going to get colors from 3 different manufactures go figure :hsmack:

I added a photo seeing how sometimes it's middlestone  color and this is sand:hsmack:

Nice pattern Kevin, but on the pic, it looks very bright. A brown filter would blend the colors better and enrichen them somewhat.

Cheers Rob
