bucky_s Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Fuselage decalling done, ready for flat overspraying in preparation for ink wash and other weathering. Yet more demonstration of the versatility of the Aviattic decals. I don't even think I needed the "wrinkle prevention" radius slit (here running through the darkest green lozenge and access hole of each cover) -- just with setting solution and gentle wet Qtip nudging I might have gotten it all to settle down without wrinkling. 4
oreodog Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Bucky - your work is just inspiring! Thanks so much for posting what has worked for you, and what hasn't, and then how you got it just right. It is very, very helpful and I appreciate that you take the time to explain your process. I can't wait to see her all finished. terry 2

mgbgtv8steve Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Fantastic!! I love what you are doing and am particularly impressed by the Aviattic lozenge. Anyone want to buy 6 WNW kits?! Best regards, Steve S. 2
Dave J Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Fantastic Stuff Bucky! Love the axle also so! I hope that replacement strut has arrived to you too?
bucky_s Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 It has, Dave_J. Just a few hours ago. Thanks so much for your help and WnW's generosity to this scatterbrained late-middle-aged modeler! 1
youngtiger1 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I see there hasn't been another post since 2/24/14, so is this WIP still active? There is some nice work done here Mike
