This aircraft, White 1, was the first intact soviet fighter captured by the Royal Romanian Air Force in WWII in July 1941. Cpt.av. Popescu-Ciocanel usually flew this "Rata" in mock combat against RRAF and Luftwaffe aircraft. This aircraft was destroyed in a hard landing in September 1941.
