Gunpowder17 Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 This is my first one for the new year. Tamiya's Beautiful Spitfire IX. I have built 3 of these including this one , and each one has been a dream in terms of fit and quality. This one is straight from the box witrh no extras. It was a Present from the Wife for Christmas. I started it Christmas evening and finished it last night. The only thing missing is the markings for the prop. Our 7 month old Cocker decided to eat those bless her , little terror! Camo was airbrushed using the blu tac method. I kept the weathering to a minimum. I preferre the look of a clean Spitfire. Apologies for the photos. Im not the worlds best photographer and they really do not do the model justice.
