Iceman Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 This may have been already discussed, but I have discovered that I cannot copy and paste photos from Photobucket over to the forum using Windows 8. Trying to use the photo insert icon just locks up the screen when I hit the OK button to post. Also, if I right click to paste the URL directly onto the post area, it does nothing. Using another computer that I have with Windows 7 works find for pasting photo URL's, so has anyone else had this issue with Windows 8?
Spitfire Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I use Window 8.1 and don't have a problem, in Photobucket I click on direct and then on the site I right click paste. Cheers Dennis 1
Iceman Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 Thanks Dennis, I may have a blocker that is preventing me from pasting, I cannot even do the direct click on then paste.
crazypoet Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 I'm having the same issue, and I suspect that it's to do with updated security settings in the new IE update. Unfortunately, I can't verify this until tomorrow when I can compare my home system vs my office laptop 1
RalphSarc Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Oh and spell check doesn't work either. Works fine on other sites??
crazypoet Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I've verified that that this is a consistent issue with IE (tested on multiple systems on different networks). Safari works with no issues 2
Iceman Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 Upgraded to Windows 10, same issue not resolved by Microsoft.
Members Mikester Posted October 16, 2015 Members Posted October 16, 2015 I had this issue at work. What I did to paste was turn off the little switch on the left hand of the tool bar (which I believe just enables basic HTML) and it allowed me to after that. Just hit the switch again and you're back to normal mode.
