Members Mikester Posted May 17, 2013 Author Members Posted May 17, 2013 A moment of silence for "Red 8", which has gone to the great garbage bin in the sky..... After too many hours of trying to whip the conversion set into place I gave up. I managed to salvage the cockpit pieces and the wings which will be used on the replacement project.
Guest styrenedemon Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 ......... So sorry to hear about your troubles. Sometimes this stuff can't be avoided, but it's good for the learning curve.

Yeah, you just reach a point of diminishing returns and no matter how much effort I put in it was going to be average at best.
Grant Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I think the phrase you're looking for it ....... B*GGER !! Sorry to hear this Mike ! I assume due ceremony (with "chanting") was observed i.e loads of muttered swear words whilst stomping across to the pedal bin before treading in the pedal and wishing it a fond farewell. RIP "Red 8"
