224 Peter
I'm new here, making nothing smaller than 1/48th, but mostly 1/32 and the occasional 1/24th...... At the Brooklands museum they have 2 wellingtons, one complete and not open to the public, but also a fuselage, un-covered, that is open and mostly complete with internal fittings. I'd have posted this earlier.... Hope this retrospective helps!! Peter

So I had one printed new, to the exact size of a wooden plinth i bought. I marked the crash location with concentric circles (in the shape of a RAF roundel). Only need to blend the dibond panel to the wood more. Then to find a way to display the crash relic to the wooden base. Hi JeroenPeters, I'm new to this group and just discovered your build (six years late! 😄). Your work is OUTSTANDING AND INSPIRING!!! This is the first online build (really, any build) I've seen of this kit with all of the detailing. I have this kit and the Eduard detail sets for it. I've always been intrigued by the Eduard bomb bay (reminds me of an Erector set) and I was thinking about doing some serious work in it next year. But I just wish I had someone with a lot of PE experience to work with me hands-on (i.e., there with me while I am working). Yes, I have done PE before, but not this extensively! Alslo, one other question, as I don't know much about Wimpys- my kit is the Mk. III, like yours. But how does it visibly differ from the Mk. X, which you built, or other sub-types? I'd like to explore decal options for mine, but I just don't know how different the sub-types are. Thanks if you can help and again, AWESOME job!
