Sir Desmond Glazebrook Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 Hi again. I am currently working on a Spitfire Mk VII. I have C wing brass Master models 20mm Hispano cannons. The short stubs in the Hasegawa kit are much smaller than the brass. There is a choice of longer cannon barrels, which I can match with the kit. I am unsure what to do regarding the short stubs. One can see them here. The wing itself looks like this: How shall I deal with this? Must I remove the protrusions on the wing and place the brass barrels within the wing, or butt join the barrels in the manner of the kit instructions? Thanks guys. ( I realise I am asking many questions. It is due to my doing loads of modelling each day. That coupled with my natural ignorance I must follow the advice of Confucius "When in doubt ask") Thanks guys. 2
BlrwestSiR Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 You need to remove the stub on the wings and drill an appropriate sized hole to insert the Master barrels. In some of their 1/32 sets they include a diagram to show how far. I'll see if I can find one for you. Carl 1
