Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 30, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 30, 2019 Has anyone ever found an acceptable match for RAL 6013? Yes I know RLM02 is very close, but it’s not exact, So do you doctor up the RLM02, or is there something closer out there? Comments would be much appreciated. Is Hataka an enamel, laquer, or water based? I'm going to buy some for some of my postwar Czech and Israeli builds, so I guess I'll soon find out. :)

Old Dog
Having grown tired of trying to obtain MRP paints I tried Hataka lacquers and found them to be very similar to my old go to but rapidly disappearing Model Master paint in respect to airbrushing and thinning. If anything I find I get a smoother finish than with MM. I have only used a few limited colors so far but have been pleased with color matches.
