I used a semi-gloss "scale black" that I mixed using MM Flat Black, MM Gloss Black and some MM Flat White. Using the white gives it more of a scale look than just dead black. When finished I oversprayed the whole model with Alclad Clear Flat. I usually use a mix I call "flat scale black" on various things like radios, tires, etc. 2 1
