  1. Very good implementation of Udet's Albatros 4476/17, Darren!! That thing looks really good! Servus Bertl
  2. When I received in 2007 the Roden Fokker Dr.1 in scale 1/32 in my hands , my modeling world was back in order. For two whole years. Then, Wingnut Wings stormed the market with four models. I immediately ordered the LVG C.IV. A short time later (well, after all, almost four weeks later) I held this kit in my hands. Since I had an Roden Albatros D.I in work, I put the gigantig beautiful LVG aside. Some time later (in April 2010), the WNW Albatros DV landed in my home. Wonderfully moulded plastic parts were in the package. Four, yes FOUR! top grade quality propeller, a great detailed Mercedes engine, etched parts and a huge decal sheet. Plastic part for plastic part, I examined under the magnifying glass. Each part was nicer as the other .......................... Then I discovered plastic part E47, ---- the barograph. WOW, this part was not included in any kit until then. I grabbed a small pair of pliers and a file. The barograph was carefully removed from the plastic sprue. .................. and then grabbed me by the madness. And in the end was not the LVG and not the Albatros my first finished built WNW kit, ...............my very first finished Wingnut kit was a simple kit part, the kit part E47, the barograph. Here it is............................. Servus Bertl

  4. @One-Oh-Four Sorry, I can not open your attached file. I get this error: "You do not have permission to view this attachment." Servus Bertl
  5. Hi Paul, Here is the top wing of the WNW Pfalz D.IIIa. The Lozenge decals are the WNW kit decals. Very good stuff by the way! This old Jasta37 Pfalz should look with a worn-out and very very much used touch. I used only a mix with 10% Gunze "Sail Color" and 90% Gunze thinner to aging the Lozenge on the top side of the wing. In several layers painted on very thin. The dirt, oil and benzin tracks on the wing radiator, etc., were presented with a very dilute black brown (dark brown) oil paint with a brush. On the underside of the topwing only painted with very dilute middle brown oil paint. Maybe that could help you. Servus Bertl
  6. It's a nice bird and a realy nice built! Servus Bertl
  7. @KoJo No, sorry. But here is a link with pictures from the first flight in Germany Oberschleißheim last year. That was one of the flights for flight certification. The albatross is now approved with German identity. http://www.austrodaimler.at/fotogalerie/aviatik/albatros-erstflug/ And here is a link to the home page of the builder. Very interesting things to see. These people have wood dust and benzin in their blood. http://www.craftlab.at/index.php?id=3&L=0 Servus Bertl
  8. A beautiful bird, Dave. When will he be ready? At least, a few bracing wires hanging on my albatros........................ Servus Bertl
  9. Welcome Dagovee @Dave J You are still not finished your beautiful Roland, Dave? You're almost slower than me with my Ltn. Adam's Albatros D.V D1148/17............. :-) Servus Bertl
  10. Thank you, @JeroenPeters, @PH-GEO and @PAnderson @PH-GEO (George) This Albatros D.III OEFFAG is an absolutely exact replica. The engine is an original .......... more than 90 years old. The albatros has now flight approval. Here images of Koloman Mayrhofer's albatross over Austria's sky on Easter 2013 Pictures are from Mr. Mayrhofer. I hope it is OK for Mr. Mayrhofer, that I post these pictures here. Servus Bertl
  11. Here the Brandenburg tank without the "outside messing around". Only Mr. Metal color "brass" (except for the two straps of course) and a little weathering with Tamiya "Smoke", -- that's all. Servus Bertl
  12. I used Tamiya X-31 "Titanium Gold" for the WNW Albatros DV fuel tank. And Mr. Metal color No.:219 "brass" for the fuel tank's on the WNW Hansa Brandenburg W29 I think, -- in my eyes -- the Mr. Metal Color - "brass" is the perfect reproduction of the real "Brass". Servus Bertl
  13. ............and the last. Servus Bertl
