  1. Well, it’s better than the aroma of Hai Karate and Skydrol. I’ve smelled that aroma a lot in my days.
  2. Gaz, I didn't know you were at Oshkosh this year! And judging warbirds too? Niiiiiiice.
  3. Ahhhhhh, Ok. I'm slow. I do know where the Kommisar lives..... mwahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa
  4. I don't see it. OK, I'm officially clueless
  5. Oh crap, did I start this? I gotta go back and look. I usually use an iPad and it has that dang autocorrect. half the time I have no idea what spits out the other end other than it's NOT what I typed.
  6. yikes! You guys are bound and determined to give me a heart attack, aren't you? remember, this IS a family friendly place, right? We can use the Pan American World Airways Clipper term: "FLIGHT DECK".
  7. MARTIN!!!!! Behave!
  8. I'm the same way with the Salmson. It's never been my favorite, but I woodgrained some stuff on mine a few years ago and it still sits, ready to be worked on. I'm following with interest
  9. Similar yes, but because I'm physically quite puffy, puffed up, puffyish, and of general puffy character, I have ordained myself as Grand Puffti, long may I reign.
  10. OUCH! It looks like nothing other than a bit of a head bumper and ego bruiser, as long as you weren't sitting behind the spar. On second thought, they look like they ran it into some rocks. I hope the pilot pulled little feeties up.
  11. As the Grand Puffti of all things pufftyish, I Hereby declare us all to be........... KIT ASSEMBLERS!!!!
  12. Hey, I’m old school. I’m still carving parts out of spruce and balsa
  13. Does anyone in the AM make the mall bomb packages yet? Those look mighty tedious to carve a bunch of. So casting it’s gotta be.
  14. I’ll get some face on pics in a day or two
  15. Ugh back at it tonight. Not in he mood, but time’s short
  16. Wow!! That captures the look exactly. Absolutely nothing out of place at all.
  17. Nice to see this one moving forward, Rick. Great work and so precise.
  18. I see exhaust shrouds that correspond to the Merlin locations... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Mk.ll used an exhaust similar to the Beau? As in the porcupine style and mounted lower on the nacelles. To me, those shrouds are definitely shrouds for an inline V-12.
  19. Look at the lead deposits on those nacelles and leading edges!!
  20. I'm kicking myself over eliminating what turned out to be the fresh air vents in the wing roots. I need to reinstate them as well...
  21. I haven't, although I'm generally a 'closed up' and ready for flight guy. For the very first time ever, I was stunned by the size of a model. I knew the B-36 would be big, and the Felix is large, but the Lanc is just plain and simply put, MASSIVE.
  22. Dennis, that's going to be an awesome build. I'm looking forward to it.
