  1. Started on the building. i used Tamiya light Grey primer first then some shading in flat black and red brown, sanded smooth before the flat white coat. 2 thin coats of Flat white then applied Vallejo Grey white and sanded that coat smooth. I will let this dry for several days before applying the flat red squares. I did not want to push the shading too much at this stage. I did finish building the gates, I had to make level so extented the poles at the bottom. I will add some signage on the gates and the building as well.
  2. Started on the chain link fence around the red and white field building. Only a small portion of the building will be seen behind the fence in the corner. This is happens when I start looking at top model shows like the one in Bron...so many talented modelers beside the wood base won't be here for another week so I am stuck messing around building stuff.
  3. Made an airbase sign, I used Dave's Decals to create the sign. i may add chain link fence...still debating on it. I am waiting for the wood base to arrive and I am stuck till it arrives. I got a 3d printed toolbox with the figures so I painted that too.
  4. Sure looks yellow from here but I believe it's orange.
  5. You know I give up...I can't compete with your modeling talent. This is just incredible to see.
  6. This is looking sharp for sure. You need to do a wash on the seats. nice work my friend.
  7. Spectacular IP. This is starting in the right direction.
  8. Here are the final pieces for the dio.
  9. Got the figures today. Here's how it looks so far.
  10. Tool box is done. Started back on the ground work.
  11. Made a new drill. Started gluing stuff together.
  12. Small update. Red painted and purple wash on the toolbox. I started in the various pieces for inside the box , I also made a small drill. Here's how it looks so far. A lot more do do on it. Made another bucket in alu this time.
  13. Disaster. I had finished the toolbox and after applying a thin coat of gloss for decals and using Solvaset on the decals the paint cracked and peeled off, this has never happened before. I used Vallejo paints and Solvaset together before and never had that kind of reaction. the toolbox was ruined. I really want to have a toolbox in the dio so I made a new one.
  14. Would the 3 color mixed together give you International Orange.?
