  1. Thanks Peter! Coming right along with no snags, etc (knock on wood!). 😀
  2. Thanks Kai. I've run out of room in my display cases so now I just have to put 'em on top and on wall shelves. I hate to do that since they collect dust, etc but I have no other options.
  3. This is such a easy build it just doesn't take a long time to make significant progress. Hasegawa and Tamiya are the two best in my opinion.
  4. Thank you Peter. I'll overspray the prop with clear flat to get rid of that glossy area. This kit is practically falling together. As close to a shake and bake as you can get!
  5. Thanks Kevin. I'm pleased that you like the results of my efforts.
  6. Agreed. I think I might still have a couple in my stash somewhere! LOL
  7. Those Hasegawa P-40's are really easy builds. No big snags, etc.
  8. Yes indeed. I built that one too. Wonder what became of Otaki?
  9. This one's been on the shelf for a good while so I think I'll build it now. Will be mostly OOB and as "Wairarapa Wildcat" using kit decals. Should be a easy straight forward build.
  10. Thanks Gaz! I'm glad you like the results of my efforts. The nice comments here really make building more of a pleasure.
  11. Thanks Phil. It's a resin piece I got from Squadron a few years ago. You might be able to find one on ebay.
  12. Thank you Rob. I'm pleased that you like it.
  13. Thanks Dennis! I find it attractive also. Not a real "easy" build in some areas such as the landing gear. That nose gear always gives me fits!
  14. All done. Check Finished Works.
  15. I'm calling this one done. As per all my 1/32 P-39 builds I added the 3/16" "plug" to the rear fuselage so the length was correct. Seat belts are Fine Molds, wheels, instrument panel, seat and a few other odds and ins are from the Kitty Hawk kit. Gun barrels are tubing from my stash. Painted with MM 34087 OD and 36231 Dk. Gull Gray. The interior is what was called "Bell Green" and I mixed several colors of MM to come up with my "interpretation" of the proper color as compared to photos. Decals are from the KH kit (thanks Peter!) except for the national insignias which are Super Scale. I hope y'all like the results of my efforts. Please remember to click on the photos for best resolution and to view as a slide show.
