  1. Looking good Gaz. I've always liked the looks of the Panther. Your build really makes it a good looking tank. Nice work!
  2. Well maybe not quite that soon. LOL However, I already had a Trumpeter "B" started and will redirect the build which will speed things up.
  3. I placed a order over the weekend and expected to have shipping confirmation today (as is usual with SB). Since I haven't had a confirmation I did some checking and sent SB a email asking about it. Here is their reply. "Your order is in the queue among many others. We are getting to all the order as fast as we can. Like other small businesses all over the country, no one wants to work so we are doing the best we can with what staff that decides they do want to work." I replied with a email to light a fire under those SOB's! Jeeze Louize!!! What's next?! Later: Just received shipping notice from UPS. LOL I guess they did light a fire under someone! LOL 😄
  4. Thanks. Another "a little bit different" build! LOL Should look good!
  5. The first order of business is to fill and sand the nose intakes.
  6. Unless I change my mind this is next using a Trumpeter 1/32 P-51B kit.
  7. Thanks Peter. It certainly stands out on the shelf!
  8. Shiny for sure! LOL Thanks.
  9. Thank you Gaz. 😉
  10. LOL Harv! I guess you like them huh? 😀
  11. Thanks Harv. I'm glad you like it!
  12. Done. Check completed work.
  13. Finished with this one. When I first saw a photo of this airplane I decided I had to build a model of it. Very much out of the usual. It wasn't a racer but was a airshow performer. I didn't do any mods to the kit except replace the seat with one from my stash. Painted with Testors overall. Decals are by Draw Decals. I t was a very straight forward build and I'm pleased with the final results. I hope you are too. Remember to click on the 1st photo for best resolution and to view as a slide show.
  14. Good looking A-26. Nice work!
  15. I nearly had to put on some dark glasses! LOL
  16. That's what I call a YELLOW airplane LOL!.
  17. LOL Peter! This P-38 is such a easy build there's no real problem getting it built fairly quickly. No mods other than replacing the terrible kit seat with one from my stash and that's about it. Fill a few very small seams, hit it with some gray primer and it's about ready for paint. Alright! The postman just delivered the decals so it's onward and upward! LOL
  18. LOL Close! This one's going fast. Already in the painting stage but awaiting decals.
  19. Yes indeed Peter and I try to do a lot of research on my subjects. That certainly can add to the frustration factor!
  20. Sad indeed! ☚ī¸
  21. Thought I would pose both Mustang's together just for grins.
  22. I'm glad you came through okay Peter and never lost power.
  23. After perusing several photos and reading up on this a/c I think some of the photos (naturally) were taken at different periods. Not a big revelation but it makes deciding on colors, etc. a bit complicated. I've read, and seen photos, that seem to indicate black props and OD wings. BUT, in this photo you can see the props are NOT black but a blue gray and the wings are gray. My estimation is that, when this photo was taken, it was in transition of being painted and the props WERE really blue gray and the wings WERE really gray (maybe a primer?). At any rate, that is how I will depict it (because I like it's looks LOL).
