Land Rovers, JMD , Porsches, Big ass truck and modern cars, even NSX, it was all there. … yes the Avanti was stunning, way ahead of its time. The owner is actually driving it , so it’s not a trailer Queen at all. Although rare as …. -
After two weeks of snowstorms and whiteout it seems like the spring has finally arrived. so I spend few hours under the Jack-stands just to realize how badly worn are my control arms and how shot are my shocks and flimsy is the panhard bar support brace.

That aluminum finish is spotless . opened the box with EW-126 and realized that Das Werk made few major errors. this aeroplane is documented on few photos and dimensional errors as I had to fix are unacceptable. Fuselage too long, tail section all wrong, belly landing gear compartment fairing missing. well few hours of cutting, filling and sanding and she’s getting there. -
Sharp work!

Carl met with Andy at Heritagecon and picked up this baby for me. Ideal adept for twin GB. Thanks Carl. this type has interesting history. Not just a paper project, Soviets test flew prototypes after the war.
