  1. I just looked at my fridge....LOL.
  2. This could be the finest aircraft kit for a long many years. just Check the boxes..spectacular subject,check...spectacular detail,check...Company that makes the most accurately detailed kits out there, check. And Jeff is right...I do want rather than need, will order one but probably just to own it,can't grantee I'll even build it to be honest.(know what that sounds like, sorry) But do believe the price is going to be a shocker for many of us. right now I'm thinking 600 plus, hope I'm wrong but feel it's close. I mean four beautifully detailed Merlins..C'mon.
  3. Check this out....oil canning and raised rivets... less than a year to release ..so plan ahead. Wonder if there will be a pre-order option? http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/productdetail?productid=3193&cat=5
  4. Thanks Smitty..... Like the close up shot of the WNW Lancaster engine...spectacular...and there are 4 of em....this isn't going to be cheap. I'm now thinking between 6 and 7 hundred
  5. You can zoom in on WNW Lanc and HK Lanc.close ups There's a 32nd P-40 but don't have much info. https://hobbylink.tv/the-latest-scale-model-news-from-the-all-japan-model-hobby-show-2018/
  6. OK Martin...are you saying it has or wishing it has? Having overlapping panels and raised rivets is kick ass already.
  7. Absofreakinlutely!!! Perhaps we could talk Brian into foiling one for us...LOL.
  8. Evidently the kit has been in development for something like 8 years... sure it might have been prudent to announce some time ago (thinking of HK) But WNW is just like Tamiya..don't know what's coming until it's just about here and don't care what other companies are releasing..Except for this one occasion. I believe WNW for the first time has let the cat out of the bag early, because they have invested heavily in time and money (which will show spectacularly in this kit) and would be very cognizant of lost sales to a competitor. It's just business, although it may seem unfair it was still the right thing to do. This was my response on the other site. I do feel some semblance of sympathy for HK, but unfortunately there won't be any comparison. And yes.. my spare change jar has WNW taped on it.
  9. I wish they'd do an F-86. Seriously. Love your builds John.
  10. I remember those too...beautiful builds..specially The Fury!!! Never did get my hands on a Fisher Sea Fury...don't know why.
  11. Pulling up a seat Peter, can hardly wait to see your talent on this build...Built one about a year back,it really is a great kit with some unique surface detail that impressed me...Oh,don't forget the small window forward and to the right of the windscreen lol. My humble attempt.
  12. Cockpit and Fus. riveting done...added some head phones, compass on the dash, fire extinguisher, tucked in a map. Going to install the wing today. Painted the gloss trainer yellow on Fus... did this now because if you've ever tried to shoot gloss yellow over Alclad you know why.
  13. Smitty!! you won't forget us......and post some pics? Ok I'm jealous.
