BlrwestSiR Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Nice pics. Any more of the ones in the green camo? I always find the single colour desert camo a bit boring. 2
Martinnfb Posted June 4, 2023 Author Posted June 4, 2023 That's pretty much everything that I was able to find, that's why I'm asking for help 1
belugawhaleman Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Tamiya released a new-tooled Sheridan in 1/35 and an Rc Version in 1/16. I think they only offer it in Vietnam era markings. I'm thinking of getting the 1/35 version....it looks like a good kit. 1
belugawhaleman Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Saw some decal offerings for the Sheridan at Sprue Brothers. I'm not sure what changes would be needed to update the Tamiya kit to the era of the decals, but; https://spruebrothers.com/ech356272-1-35-echelon-3-73-aar-m551a1-sheridan-ttss-in-operation-desert-storm/ https://spruebrothers.com/ech356270-1-35-echelon-m551a1-sheridan-ttss-in-operation-just-cause-uphold-democracy-desert-shield/ https://spruebrothers.com/search-results-page?q=Sheridan https://spruebrothers.com/defdm35088-1-35-def-model-us-m551-sheridan-tank-late-152mm-metal-gun-barrel-set-tam-kit/ 1
Martinnfb Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 Thanks Paul, as of now the RFM kit is the one, if you want to build desert conflict vehicle. I am aware of these decal offerings as well, unfortunately non of then is including pictures of the real thing. What I need are photographs, something with documenting value. 1
belugawhaleman Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Yes, I was looking RFM kit the other day and realized that changing the Tamiya kit would be a bit silly now. I'll build the Tamiya kit as is for now. The Tamiya kit is pretty good BTW.
Martinnfb Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 Indeed it would. Can we stick with the topic please, pretty please, with the cherry on the top
Vandy1 VX-4 Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Concord Publications 2003 Operation Desert Shield Prelude to Desert Storm for sale online | eBay I recall that this book had two or three photos in it of the Sheridan 1
