3rd time is the charm, I guess? Heller models related

I know, 1/72. But it’s big. It’s the Concorde model.  Thought about selling it, had a buyer after posting it up on another forum.  As far as I knew it was all still NIB but just opened.  That’s how I bought it. Decided to just do an inventory of parts.   Discovered the canopy was missing.  Like the bag was ripped open, snipped off the sprue and put back in the box.  Funny thing is, saw one offered for sale on eBay as a parts box with the same part missing.  Who needs all these 1/72 Concorde canopies?

Withdrew the sale and contacted Heller since they were the last to produce the kit and asked to buy the part and gladly pay shipping.  In full disclosure, my kit is an older Airfix.  Same molds though.
Never heard a response back.  Sent another email back in December. Still ignored.
Sent another last night after reading others have gotten parts after being persistent and bugging the crap out of them.  So dug up my old email and resent it asking once again for assistance.

I just got a reply!  Said they will locate the part for me and get it sent to me.

Sometime I guess one does have to squeak a lot to get some grease.

I had a similar problem ....with a Takom part.....I was able to get the part

without much difficulty...I'm glad Heller is able to help you!

I've not had much experience building Heller (or Aifix) kits....recently

bought a Heller "petit gris" tractor.....not sure why!

Because the « Petit Gris » is as iconic to French agriculture post-WWII as, say, a Chevrolet Corvette for American muscle car lovers (or is it a Camaro, or a John Deer tractor ?)

You're pretty close Hubert.

The car you're thinking of is the Chevy Chevette. :sofa:

No, 'bought it because it's cute. Seriously, these little Ferguson

tractors were imported to the U.S. and sold as Fords. Later Ford

manufactured them in the U.S. . I had a friend when I was a kid,

whose father had one.......we used to drive it when Randy's dad wasn't

around.
