I would have imagined better detail on a kit in this scale, but on the other hand, itΒ΄s a pleasure to follow your modifications and detailing. Cheers Rob Thank youπ This hobbyboss kit is marketed as "simplified kit" and it shows. Smaller details are missing. In other hand if you want to modify stuff this is for you. But main selling point in this kit is that it has all correct unique features found in plant nr. 183 1944 production. In many cases kit can have lots of detail but details are from wrong year or production plant. Β 2

FullArmor Posted April 17, 2024 Author Posted April 17, 2024 Some metallic details painted. Most of them are "too metallic" but after applying rust/dirt/oil stains most of them areΒ barely visible. 4

FullArmor Posted April 21, 2024 Author Posted April 21, 2024 Need help! How can i improve these hit marks? I made mistake of creating scrape marks...i hoped that would seem like shrapnel damage, but that came unrealistic. I added oil colors and hope it will cover it. Hit by HE shell??? Any advice is welcome. 5
CrankyCrafstman Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Hey FullArmor Β I use the tip of my soldering iron pushed in to the plastic, makes it melt kinda like steel does when hit by a shell. Ron GΒ 3
FullArmor Posted April 28, 2024 Author Posted April 28, 2024 Filtering and weathering done. Next varnish, chipping, fine details, oil stains. 3
Martinnfb Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Impact marks on a sloped armor, in case they bounce off are more of an oval-like Β shape rather than circular. The less energy , the more irregularity of the impact mark. I would erase the black smudge and replace it with rust and graphite .Β 3 1
FullArmor Posted May 5, 2024 Author Posted May 5, 2024 Added highlight, oilstains, chipping, and other random stuff...moment in build when i realize that this could be finished somedayπ€―...hats off to anybody who has ever build one 1/16 scale tankπ«‘ 6
FullArmor Posted May 9, 2024 Author Posted May 9, 2024 Turret was too boring looking so i added some graphite pen to create worn look. Tried to emphasise places where crew would disembark. 8
