JohnB Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 My intentions are to build this one using some "home grown" decals using my computer and printer. I was able to find the needed markings, in various scales, in my decal stash and was able to re-size and print them out via my computer and photo editor apps. I think they are all the right size, etc now so I can get started on the build. This is the a/c I plan to model. Too many high cuss factor problems when trying to get the fuselage halves together. When it FINALLY snapped into place the bottom of the instrument panel fell off. I won't go into a lot of detail but suffice it to say one problem led to another and another, etc. I don't need the aggravation and frustration so I decided to SOD it and move on to something else. Unknown at this time. 6
Peterpools Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 John Nice choice for your next build. I've had my eye on the Eduard kit for some time and your build just might help me finally decide. Alway amazed at how you can print out your own decals. I've tried once and failed miserably. 3

JohnB Posted July 8, 2024 Author Posted July 8, 2024 Back to this one now. I was able to get the fuselage halves and cowling on without too much cussing! Now maybe I can get with the rest of the program with this one. 🙂 8

Peterpools Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 John Fingers crossed the balance of the build will be a non-cuss factor, from here on in.🤞 Will be following all the way. 3
