Wingco57 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 According to the German magazine Flugzeug Classic, the Spitfire is expected to be available around april. We'll see. Cheers Cees 2
benjaminsummerfield Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Hurray. It was originally slated for October 13
benjaminsummerfield Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I heard it had some accuracy issues so they held it back to correct them.
Dave J Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 If Revell has held it back due to that reason... Why couldn't they do it with the 109?
Wumm Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Erm... Because there's no equivalent new-tool version from a rival manufacturer from which to source parts to fix the errors caused by cost cutting and lousy research! Ooh... too soon? S
nmayhew Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Now now Steve But I kind of take your point However, if it means the Spit is all the better for it then I am happy It's not like my current stash is empty etc etc
Administrators Fran Posted January 11, 2014 Administrators Posted January 11, 2014 Yes, completely new. Cees Oh boy oh boy!!! Great news!! Thanks for the info Cees!
Wumm Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Well Nick, Now now Steve When a consultant directly involved in the project, later writes a "How to build" book on the specific kit, and recommends that those buying the kit should source parts from a rival manufacturer to fix the errors in the kit, it's an indictment on the quality of the research and the priorities of the manufacturer. Here's hoping the Spitfire fans get a better deal from Revell. S 1
