Oh good to hear. I’m very excited to own one after all these years of scale model building!!! I guess with better skills you end up with better tools!

Fran I had forgotten you lived in Porto Portugal! We were there last September on a river cruise. Absolutely loved the city and it’s people!!

Hi Ralph, I just got that very airbrush at the weekend to replace my older H&S Evolution. I've only used it briefly so far but it sprays very well and it's easier to clean than the older version. Spares are also very easy to find as well. I'd heartily recommend it.

I’m very excited to have a HS after all these years. I’m looking forward to all the new spraying techniques I’m going to learn.

Looks like a great airbrush😀 I hope you enjoy your new purchase!

It’s been a long time coming plus I’ve almost worn out my trusty Iwata, lol!!!

If I may put forward the tight arse end of the airbrushing spectrum here, I bought a 40 dollar Hobby Easy double action and 5 bucks worth of .2mm parts from Temu and have an airbrush that works like a charm. 1/72 free hand mottle and camouflage is done without trouble. I'm not knocking your purchase at all, I'd love a Iwata HP myself and very seriously considered dropping 340 bucks a few weeks ago on one, but just couldn't justify that at the moment.

I totally understand. Airbrushes are very personal. I’ve produced around 200 kits since 2013 staring with a Neo and moving on up to an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS

We absolutely did! While Lisbon was beautiful Porto was stunningly breathtaking taking. We roamed the street day and night for three days and totally enjoyed ourselves. We traveled on a Viking River Cruise all the way to the Portuguese/Spanish borders.
we particularly enjoyed the four locks plus all the grapevine farms along the way.

+1 in preferring Porto over Lisbon ! And the Porto wine producing area, from Peso da Regua upstream, is absolutely gorgeous !

And, you may have not noticed it, but the North of Portugal has a lot richer gastronomy culture than the Center or the South. As a Frenchman living in Portugal, food is, of course, a key topic 😎

Hubert we absolutely enjoyed our Viking River Cruise aboard the Torgil. The staff, the food, the scenery, wine country, the many locks, the small down etc. We’d definitely enjoy spending more time in Portugal and Porto. We said over dinner last night that if we moved abroad we’d learn Portuguese and head straight to Porto!!!

Selling my house presents to myself!!!
After painting well over 150 scale model kits since 2013 my trusting Iwata Airbrush was starting to show its age so I decided to really step up my painting game by purchasing a Harder & Steenbeck Evolution 2024 CRplus Airbrush which is an absolute thing of beauty!!
Plus I’m looking forward to building the Stug and Churchill!

Nice finds👍

Stug in finnish army...I can't wait to see what this will be like.🙂

I purchased this kit because it was the closest Stug to the one at the Australian Tank Museum that they just restored. I enjoy the Work Shop Wednesday videos on YouTube.

Let the new airbrush practicing begin.
I took Bill Christo suggestion and changed the needle size to 0.45mm so now it’s fiddling with air pressure and thinning mixtures.
First impressions of the Harder & Steenbeck is the trigger mechanism is way different than the Iwata requiring my finger to learn a new motor skill.
Remember I’ve been using an Iwata Neo and Iwata Eclipes since 2013 so there will be a little learning curve!!
