Well I finally finished it, just over a year in the making

After all the PCM Kits I wanted something simple and easy to build, having built a lot of the later Hasegawa Japanese subjects I decided to build the Ki 44 that has waited patiently in the stash for ages.

As I know nearly nothing about the subject I set about my books and of course the internet, Aviation of Japan being my primary search area.

I got a lot of information from Aviation of Japan, the search function does work well, so all educated in all things Ki 44 I formulated a build plan.

Nick Millman has in the past helped me a lot with all things Japanese so I sent him a copy of my masterplan as in the past he has very generously helped me out a lot.

Nick's reply set in motion quite a revision of the plan, , and below is the result.

Nice one Dennis . Quite an oddly proportion design, I had to go take a look as wasn't aware of that one .

Thank you, yes it looks like a large engine with a minimal airframe, very odd looking but it worked at what it was designed to do.

Thank you Martin it is appreciated, it was a nice uncomplicated build apart from the self inflicted complexity of the masking and painting but well worth it in the end.

Thank you for the kind words Kevin, I am really happy with the result, and so will carry on with the Japanese theme with a Tamiya A6M2.

Thank you, and get it out of the stash and build it, these Hasegawa Japanese subject kits are a pleasure to build.
