Slowly adding important features to the cowling and filling boo-boos as I go. IMG_8654.thumb.jpeg.37e749df3005acf7d49e8aebf7c9e58f.jpeg

I decided not to hang the drop tank on, which requires little refining of its rack .

wing root fairings received some extra detail. These are not riveted, but strapped on allowing independent movement between these two structural segments.

It may be easier in 1/24 scale.  Good luck.  It was a beast in 1/32.  It all looks good.

Hi Martin

Great conversion of a K4 😉 as it's easier to post pics here than I post some images of my test prints and conversion "start" of a Erla G10 and a G14/AS for Airfix 1/24 kit.

I still need to address some minor things but have all the needed parts more or less.

Cheers Gunnar

Hi Gunnar, that looks absolutely outstanding. Thank you for posting this. The rivet detail is perfect match to the Airfix's one.

Fuel tank is ready , the slats looked funny as depicted by Airfix with a strange panel line, so there will be some more work to make it right.
still working on the power egg, it’s a redundant process of filling , scribing , fixing, filling etc.

There is something funky going on with the plastic, it is sort of flaky-ish soft ?, scribing doesn't feel right. But , the "meh" was to my inability to see the details, I have to rework it gain. :)

A common complaint of Airfix Indian plastic . It varies from release to release

#indianquality .
