benjaminsummerfield
I've now given it a wash with Paynes grey Oil paint, a little bit of weathering and then it will get a final coat of Alclad light sheen before final assembly.
Wingco57
Getting there. What's your opinion about the stencils? Cees
benjaminsummerfield
Getting there. What's your opinion about the stencils? Cees To be fair to Kitsworld they went on very well, they've missed a couple that can be made out in photos, like ones on top of the engine nacelles. Their walk ways gave me a bit of trouble though as they've printed them as a whole piece with a huge bit of carrier film in the middle so I used the kit ones which were tricky to put it politely!! mgbgtv8steve
A really great looking model which reflects the time and attention to detail you've poured into it. Well done! Perhaps now you can give the Mini rebuild as much time and attention!!
One-Oh-Four
What's the issue with it? Too Late now really. The canopy is too low, too wide or both. It should look like this: Anyhow, your progress looks great!!

I think it'd be beyond me to fix that, the hood does seem a little square in its cross section, I don't think the windscreen is quite right either, Fisher have sorted that in their F8 conversion 99% finished. Tad more weathering to do and it's compete.
