Members Mikester Posted December 1, 2014 Members Posted December 1, 2014 Adrien, although it's large, the LSM completed work forum is for 1/32 scale and up models so I've moved this to the non LSM Completed projects forum. Beautiful work! 1
Administrators Fran Posted December 1, 2014 Administrators Posted December 1, 2014 Great looking DC-3!!! Fantastic bare metal finish!
Administrators James H Posted December 1, 2014 Administrators Posted December 1, 2014 Amazing! Love it. I'd quite like to build that kit. Have you got any construction photos?
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted December 1, 2014 Administrators Posted December 1, 2014 Love it! Really cool. Great details. And I'm sure we'll see one of these in 32nd scale in the near future...
RalphSarc Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 That is freaking incredible detail!!! Are those all aftermarket adds or scratch built?
Grant Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Blimey Adrien! Another beautiful build. I've fond memories of the DC3 having flown in a couple "in another life". When you board you just HOPE your seat isn't too far to the front because, when it's on the ground, it's like a mountain hike getting to your seat! Grant
Layton Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 That's a beauty Adrien. Your detail level is magnificent! Cheers Polux
One-Oh-Four Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Wow, don't know where to start.... I love the extra detail, the shading on the landing gear, detailing, rivets and weathering of the whole airframe. I don't know if keeping the raised panelling would've been a better idea as the DC-3 had a lot of overlapping panels.... I like the restrained NMF finish, very realistic!
