BlackRoger Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 The old Dragon Elefant kit without moulded on Zimmerit. This model has a Voyager detail set incorporated which was a great set to use. Easy PE that replaced parts that actually needed replacing of enhancement rather than just replacing perfectly good kit parts. The Zimmerit was made with Milliput and a screwdriver. Tracks by Friulmodel...I love those things. Thanks for looking. 1
Layton Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 There are some nice details there! The camouflage paintwork looks spot on Cheers
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted January 14, 2015 Administrators Posted January 14, 2015 Nice one! With great detail... Friultracks on a kit like this really adds some weight don't it? 1
BlackRoger Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 Nice one! With great detail... Friultracks on a kit like this really adds some weight don't it? They sure do. I'm hopeless with single link styrene tracks. The friuls are beautiful...even if they are the same price as the rest of the kit!
Administrators Fran Posted January 15, 2015 Administrators Posted January 15, 2015 great looking ELefant!! Just love this beast! 1
Paulster Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Beautiful weathering and chip effect. I always get Fruil for vehicles that don't have a "live" suspension. Nothing looks like sagging links like sagging links. What method did you incorporate for the chipping?
