jandrego Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 At last the Zero is finished, somehow it got stuck in the middle of the build. Wonderful kit Markings from the Midway period, so a bit dirty. Jan 9
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted April 19, 2015 Administrators Posted April 19, 2015 Oh Jan! That is sweet. Restrained yet used. Very cool. Followed your work on Facebook and great to see it here. Cheers! Jeroen
cib2265 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I love it! particularly the weathering = i think its spot on for that time period. well done!
kahunaminor Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Very nice build. I love the colours and the result of the weathering. Thanks for sharing and regards,

Administrators Fran Posted April 25, 2015 Administrators Posted April 25, 2015 Fantastic!!! A reference for me as i have this one in my stash.
jandrego Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 Got me a Japanese carrier deck design that could be printed and glued together. It is not a real as a balsa replica bur for my first groundwork it will do. Jan
Marcel du Long Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Hi Jan, I guess I saw this one at Moveleo Modelforce. Very sweet finish and love the greenish/off white color you applied and the subtle weathering. I think the base does not do justice to this build but that's very personal. Still a sweet build! Marcel.
Iceman Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Beautiful work!, love the subtle but distinct weathering. I find that many aircraft models are trending to be over weathered and panel line profiled. Your work depicts a battle harden Zero without going over the top. Well done.
