ajcmac
Another model that is here at home for a long time. A P-51 D Tamiya in 1/32 scale. I think it is time to try to finish it. I have the parts of engine and of the interior already glued. How not like to build natural metal models will try to get a sheet of decals with other colors. I have met one, I have done the order and just hope that is still in stock. The model. Sprues. Sheet of instructions. Decals. I will not use the individual brands but only the stencils. Mask. ajcmac
Thank Doogs ATX. Already managed to get a sheet of decals. P-51D Mustang EagleCals EC-102 and intend to do the version «Ol Flak Joe». I started the engine. I was gluing by parts ... ... to finally glue everything. Wonder fittings. Almost do not notice where the parts were glued. I'll have to sand to rectify the error. cib2265
Looking forward to this one! I hope to tackle my first 1/32 Tamiya later this year and will do the P-51, but not NMF as well - I'll be doing Passion Wagon I hope - overall RAF Dark Green top but heavily weathered, so maybe more difficult than NMF! Thanks cib2265 . Continuing. And after I glued the engine started to interior that is what I like. Here little to glue only the two small parts in PE, the sides of the seat. I used the Interior Green mixture of Tamiya paints XF3 (2) and XF 5 (1). Regards ajcmac

ajcmac
i love the crispness of the propeller! Great start! Might have to get me one of these one day... Thank you and I think that this model well worth the money I paid for it. Another advance in P-51 D. Now to close the fuselage have to finish the air ducts and radiators. It is almost . Wells and doors of the front landing gear. Rear landing gear. Almost all set. Missing apply some wear on the small wheel. Regards ajcmac
ajcmac
Another finished parts. The air ducts with radiators. Air ducts that are under the engine. And it's almost. Amazing how everything fits right and nothing is glued. Regards ajcmac
ajcmac
I did not like the additional deposits painting. This time first painted glossy black, then aluminum. Machine guns. Painted black and then a kind of dry brush with graphite. Flaps and ailerons. Once'll let the engine covers open the air duct missing. A few more pieces aluminum. And for now it is all.
