Good to see Airfix bringing this version out in 2016. and the Mosquito FB VI will be re-released again, so they are very active in this scale. According to the net they are already working on a new 1/24 kit. But that will take a few years.

Won't be surprised if a testshot of the cardoor will be at Telford.

It is a shame that Airfix do not make 1/32 scale kits as like many other people my modelling started with Airfix kits when I was very young, and the quality of their kits seems to be improving hand over fist so it is disappointing that they do not make anything for me to buy nowadays

That Airfix is bringing out the cardoor as well demand for 1/24 must be healthy, which is a good thing.

There are a few nice 24th Kits out there.. Have a look at the Trumpeter Fw190 D9. I have seen great builds of that in the past.

...I did have one of those kits back in the day when I enjoyed a good job...there were a few issues with it Dave...quite a few. In saying that, with work a great kit emerged from the box.
