Cheers Gents.  Fiddly bits ready, but I chickened out on weathering this one.

BarracudaCast cockpit door and wheels, and Quickboost exhaust stubs.  Kagero's artwork shows the fishtail style stubs, but I couldn't face cleaning up the kit parts and these were in the box.

Very thin 1:3 mix of XF-1 Flat Black and XF-64 Red Brown for the exhaust stains.  Colour sprayed, then knocked back carefully with wet 6000 grade Micromesh moving from bottom to top.  Engine panel fastener rings also micromeshed to lift them off the background a bit.  Hope they results meet with your approval Bevan.

Not a flat tyre or collapsed oleo - just stuffed the horizon.

Tail light replaced with heated clear sprue pushed through one of the Waldron punch set holes.

Gear indicators from scrap photo-etch.  Thanks for the tip Dan.

Thanks to Administration for providing the GB opportunity; to Mal Mayfield for supplying the marking masks; and to you guys for following along.  Cheers, Ralph.

Cheers Gents.  Tamiya does give the modeller a decent head start.  Very nice kit to work with.

Hello Cees.  Yes - agreed.  Adding the exhaust pipes at the end is not the most fun.  I used medium viscosity superglue which allowed time to adjust the alignment.  Cheers, Ralph.

Ralph, she's a good looking girl from ANY angle. You've done Castle Bromwich proud.

It's been a great build to watch, trials & all. Those exhausts came out a treat in the end, almost expecting thick start-up smoke to billow out....

Cheers indeed!
