  8. So very nice to see you work here!! I agree with Matt the detail is fantastic for 1/72!!! Wonderful work!! Ralph
  9. You know every time I see you and Jim build I’m reminded of how far I’ve come since joining LSM however I’m also reminded that my modeling journey has just barely begun. I will follow your He-219 and Jim’s Ju88 builds with great interest. Ralph.
  10. The paint shop crew sprayed all the newly install parts with a coat of white primer followed by a coat of zinc chromate. Hopefully the engine shop will finish up the afterburner section for installation today allowing for the fuselage sections to be joined!
  11. Nicely done. Really like the washes on the wheel hubs! You detailing on the engine is so lifelike that it looks like it was just running!!
  12. I had problems a few months ago due to the switch in the upper left. Vert frustrating little switch!!
  13. Revell 1/48 F-106 Update. So far so good but a bit fidgety! Lots of great gear and weapons bay parts with nice detail for sure.

  18. Yea me too Wayne. They're always fun!!
  19. When I got back into modeling I used my I-Phone to take pictures of my builds on my bench. As my modeling skill levels improved I wanted a more polished professional look to my photographs so I put out the word to friends concerning purchasing a DSLR. Friendship ruled the day and I was given a Minolta Maxxum D5 DSLR with a standard lens plus a telephoto lens. I bought a tripod, modified my homemade light box with additional lighting and a neutral backdrop and so far the results are like night and day!!! I’ve noticed that several members of the FB Group have adopted neutral backdrops in their build photos, lol!! Still leaning the fine art of DSLR photography but looking forward to better and better results! My new Minolta Maxxum D5 DSLR Homemade photo box. Hind using I-Phone and old photo box. Hind using DSLR and neautral back drop I'm sold, lol!!!
  20. Did a little dry fitting today before starting to mask the fuselage and inner wing section to be painted Tamiya zinc chromate. This model has great detail in the wheel wells and weopons bay however the plastic is reallt soft!!
