  1. Kevin Actually almost. I’ve finished painting the stripes etc and just now finished setting the decals!! Hope to finish today!
  2. Really wonderful kit to build. Both the engine and cockpit have excellent detail along with a pretty decent decal sheet. Definitely recommend!!
  3. Beautifully done!! Another museum quality masterpiece!!
  4. Spent some time this morning looking over my 1/24 AirFix Hawker Hurricane kit. Really like all the engine and cockpit details. I’ve ordered HGW 1/24 Seatbelts along with a few other resin bits. My plan is to wire and plumb both the engine and cockpit from achieve photos. The decal sheet is absolutely beautiful. I’ll be modeling a Hurricane from No.87 Squadron, Royal Air Force Exeter, Devon 1940.
  5. Thank you for your very kind comment.
  6. Your attention to detail is amazing!! An absolute show stopper!! Congratulations on a stellar finish!!
  7. Finished my Tamiya 1/35 T-34/76 captured Russian Tank!! I consider this my best armor build to date. Pretty interesting tank and history. Enjoyed practicing more rusting techniques and winter camouflage.
  8. Definitely will. This will be a re-build for me. I’m looking forward to this second build at my present skill set! Attached is my first build.
  9. Kinda Christmas, lol!! Look what I got for my Birthday!!!!
  10. Super nice builds. Really appreciate all the attention to detail. Nicely done!
  11. Oh wow Santa was very good to me!!! Merry Christmas!!
  12. Oh wow Santa was very good to me!!! Merry Christmas!!
  13. Started the assembly of the cockpit. The kit comes with PE seatbelts however I ordered a complete aftermarket colored PE set so I’ll use that.
  14. Since I’ve already built a A1A in SEA camouflage colors I was thinking I might make this recent build US Navy bird. Comments greatly appreciated.
  15. Did I bit of metal highlighting to the A1 engine using Uschi’s metal polishing powder. Absolutely wonderful stuff!
  16. You’ll love the kit. I did mine in a Iraq War scheme however can be painted in NATO camouflage!
  17. Finished my last model of 2014 with this Tamiya 1/35 scale WW2 US Sherman M4A3 Tank. I built 22 models this year! Yes there is still lots of room in the basement, lol!!!
  18. Although it sat on my bench for eight months unfinished it finally completed and ready to be added to the shelves of armor! Tamiya 1/35 M109A6 Paladin (Iraq War). With a 155mm ramjet-assisted cannon that can punch through armor and buildings, a point defense laser for neutralizing missiles, and tough composite armor, the Paladin is perhaps one of the tanks with the highest survivability in the world. Really a great kit and of course highly recommended.
  19. Finally finished painting the A1J’s engine. Pretty pleased with their effort.
