Thanks Rowen for commenting on the differences! I knew there were some things that weren't non-standard... But my mind is WW2 mode at the moment!
-
Thanks Chris! Looks like I will be ordering some more AK stuff in the near future!
-
If your planning to do Görings... its not a standard F that you find in the WNW box... From memory there is some differences in Cowls etc...
-
I have only had a quick look in the box... But I'm impressed how the fuse has been done
-
Looks fantastic Chris! What paints did you use? And the chipping was done before with some mask or after with which colour? Asking as I am thinking of cracking open the Tasca 1/24 Pz. Kpfw II later today at work..

Cockpit is fitted, fuse closed and wings are on! Just need to paint the Ins. panel before I can fit the upper cowls... But that can be next week's task during lunches. Hopefully middle of next week.. I could start throwing some colour around!

According to 1/32 chapter of the Luckymodel Bilbe - Hasegawa #08215 Me 262A "KG51" (Latest Release) is US$61 shipped to you in the UK Trumpeter #02235 Me 262A is US$66 shipped to the UK Trumpeter #02237 Me 262B1/U1 (Two Seater) is US$100 shipped to the UK So there isn't really much difference in the Single seater 262 if you shop around. But you are pretty safe with Luckymodel and they will under declare it so you won't get hit with VAT.

The Hasegawa kit dates back to 1970's if I am correct... Its has raised panel lines, and been re-released by Hasegawa quite a few times... As far as I know the tooling hasn't been updated on any of these releases. Trumpeter one is far better IMHO, engraved panel lines and rivets and lots more deal in the cockpit, wheel bays. It also has an open-able gun bay and detail in the fuse. I think the Trumpeter kit is a little bit more than the Hasegawa kit, but the price is worth it
